The Southern Latin Theological Institute (SLTI) is a ministry of the Council of the Southern Latin District of the Assemblies of God. The SLTI offers a program of ministerial studies at the institute level. College credit is not awarded. This educational program is ideal for the preparation of ministers and lay leaders in the church, as well as for personal enrichment.

 

The Southern Latin Theological Institute's program of ministerial studies has been approved to meet the educational requirements for ministerial credentials from the General Council of the Assemblies of God. The SLTI does not grant ministerial credentials. Ministerial credentials are awarded by the Credentials Committee of the General Council of the Assemblies of God on the recommendation of one of its districts.

The Southern Latin Theological Institute has adopted the Statement of Fundamental Truths of the General Council of the Assemblies of God as its doctrinal statement. The doctrinal position is expressed in our statement of faith.
